Jason’s practice includes acting for landowners in Ontario who are facing expropriation, as well as on behalf of public expropriating authorities.
Jason earned his law degree from Western University. During his studies, Jason was involved in many extracurricular activities and student organizations, including working as a Caseworker at Western’s Community Legal Services.
Prior to joining SOK, Jason practiced litigation at a leading litigation boutique in Toronto, as well as in-house with a major Canadian financial institution. His busy litigation practice involved various types of complex disputes on behalf of insurers with respect to property and casualty claims.
Jason earned a BA (Honours Specialization in Social Justice and Peace Studies) from Western University in London, Ontario, where he grew up. Jason is a member of the Ontario Expropriation Association and the Ontario Bar Association.
