Sam works along side the legal team and owners impacted by expropriation. He also assists municipalities, and regions with infrastructure work.
Sam went to law school at Bond University in Australia where he earned his Juris Doctor (JD) degree and is admitted as a lawyer in Australia. While at law school, Sam was elected as the post graduate director on the university’s student association, competed on the rowing team, and won the Best Canadian Oralist award in the 2024 David Strangio moot competition.
Prior to joining SOK, Sam worked at tax and cryptocurrency law firms in Australia. Prior to law school, he also worked at a major accounting/consulting firm and the Canada Revenue Agency focusing upon software engineering. This work related to his Software Engineering degree from McMaster University.
