Scargall Owen-King Lavictoire LLP is Proud to Announce a United Nations Secondment

We are pleased to share that Caleb Scargall will be undertaking a secondment with the United Nations beginning September 28, 2026, through December 2026. He will return to Scargall Owen-King Lavictoire LLP in January 2027.

During this appointment, Caleb will contribute to the important work of several UN human rights bodies. In October, he will be supporting the work of the Social, Humanitarian and Cultural Issues Committee (Third Committee) of the United Nations General Assembly. He will also be involved with the Committee on the Elimination of Discrimination against Women, as well as ongoing work related to the Committee against Torture and the Committee on the Rights of the Child.

This secondment reflects Caleb’s commitment to advancing human rights and international justice, values that align closely with our firm’s dedication to public service and meaningful legal advocacy.

We are incredibly proud of Caleb and this opportunity to contribute to work that has a global impact. We wish him every success during his time with the United Nations and look forward to welcoming him back to SOK in January 2027.
