Serena’s practice is focused on expropriation law for both landowners and expropriating public authorities across Ontario.
Serena received her Juris Doctor degree from Dalhousie University. Serena completed her articles at the largest school board in Canada, with a focus on advocacy and dispute resolution.
During law school, Serena co-founded the Dalhousie Access to Justice Association and competed on Dalhousie’s sailing team. Serena was a recipient of the Insolvency Institute of Canada Prize in Insolvency Studies and the Schulich Scholarship in Law for her academic excellence and community involvement.
Prior to law school, Serena received her Bachelor of Commerce from Concordia University, where she competed internationally at several case competitions. Upon graduating, Serena worked as a consultant at a multinational professional services firm and supported clients throughout North America.
Outside of the office, Serena enjoys travelling, hiking, and sailing. With an interest in languages, Serena is always happy to practice her French or Spanish!
