Candace leverages her considerable advocacy experience to assist public expropriating authorities and landowners facing expropriation.
For over a decade, Candace honed her advocacy skills through litigating complex class actions, commercial lawsuits and insurance matters at prominent litigation boutiques. She has successfully appeared at the Financial Services Commission of Ontario, the Licence Appeal Tribunal and all levels of court in Ontario, including the Court of Appeal. Candace obtained her LL.B., Cum Laude, from the University of Ottawa where she was the Editor-in-Chief of the Ottawa Law Review. After completing her articles, she worked closely with judges as a judicial law clerk for the Ontario Superior Court.
Candace has an Associate Diploma from The Royal Conservatory in Piano Performance, and an Honours Bachelor of Arts in English, with High Distinction, from the University of Toronto.
